Into derivatives account

FLOW CHART FOR MONEY DEPOSIT INTO DERIVATIVE ACCOUNT

You deposit/transfer money into your derivatives trading account in 2 steps: 

Step 1: Deposit money into derivatives trading account at FPTS

Step 2: Deposit money into margin collateral at VSDC from derivatives trading account at FPTS

STEP 1: DEPOSIT MONEY INTO DERIVATIVES TRADING ACCOUNT AT FPTS

Method 1: Deposit money online via your account at Eztrade/EzFutures (from your underlying securities account)

Method 2: Deposit money via bank account with a given syntax

You can deposit cash at the bank or transfer money from your bank account to your derivatives trading account at FPTS. The receiving account information is as follows:

Method 3: Deposit/Transfer money at FPTS Head Office, Branches or Transaction Offices at the addresses here.

STEP 2: DEPOSIT MONEY FOR MARGIN ACCOUNT AT VSDC (FROM DERIVATIVE ACCOUNT AT FPTS) 

  • At the end of each trading day, VSDC will determine the required margin based on your End of Day Position Balance
  • The margin amount required to be deposited and maintained on Day T+1, even you have closed some positions during that time, FPTS still requests you to deposit margin collateral before you make the trading as per FPTS’s announced rate.
  • FPTS system will automatically deposit on VSDC margin account if your margin account at FPTS has sufficient balance.
  • Time for depositing margin collateral:
    • Morning: 9:00-9:30
    • Afternoon: 13:30-14:00 on Day T+1

NOTE 

- In case your money is credited into your account at FPTS by the bank at the service after 16:30 in working days or at weekends or on public holidays, your money will be credited into your securities transaction account in the next working day (thus, no reduction is seen the amount of money although the advance is already made).

- You need to send your request for transaction check in the following cases:

  • Write down insufficient/wrong information about securities account number and/or the full name of the account holder in the money deposit content section
  • Deposit/transfer money into other professional accounts of FPTS (share auction, shareholder rights exercising, etc.)
